  • About Gatherer
  •

Gatherer is an addon for herbalists, miners and treasure hunters in World of Warcraft. It's main purpose is to track the closest plants, deposits and treasure locations on your minimap.

The addon does not track like a tracking ability does, rather it "remembers" where you have found various items in the past. It does this whenever you gather (perform herbalism, mining or opening) on an item, and records the specific map location in its history. From then on, whenever the item comes into range of being one of the closest 1-25 (configurable) items to your present location, it will pop up on you minimap.

When you view your World Map, you will also see the item locations marked on the particular map you are viewing there.

For more information, please visit us at http://www.gathereraddon.com/

USAGE:

Just use the game as normal. When you gather things, they will appear on your minimap and your main map. If you want to configure the addon, click the Gatherer configuration icon floating around your minimap frame or type /gather options.

CONTRIBUTING:

Gatherer is an open source project, and is built upon the donations and the support of the community.

Greetings All, Due to an issue with the move to the "new" Curse, all of the responses to your questions and comments have been lost... Should you have missed your response, please let us know. Thank you, Nikk

  • Would be nice if you would integrate the options into blizzards standard options interface

  • Love this addon but can you add in the Gatherer report the option to look at the nodes by type instead of by region. Right now, the report is determined by region, so for example my adamantite nodes are in like 5 different places, is it possible to have it by type to see in general where the majority of the nodes are? thx for this great addon.

I disagree with you here, but that doesn't matter.

I love Gatherer, and for fishing, if I don't allready know where to go, I use Mobmap. Which I allready use anyway for 'in-game thottbot' purposes.

  • there is a book you catch off of Dustwallow coast up north that will teach you how to find pools of fish like you find herbs or mines. It's way cool
